POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Planning Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial health and growth of Straub Collaborative. This position will be responsible for conducting financial analyses, preparing reports, and providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.

POSITION DUTIES

  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast financial performance, assess risk, and evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the development and management of annual budgets.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial forecasts for projects.
  • Create and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, capital budgeting, and risk assessment.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data from various sources.
  • Identify trends and patterns in financial data to inform decision-making.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as needed to support specific projects or initiatives.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Creates Profit Calculator model of all new projects to ensure resources are effective accounted for.
  • Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
  • Data entry in Finance software, Gravity.
  • Support other duties as assigned by the Controller and Chief People Officer.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

A bachelor’s degree from in accounting, finance, or similar subject is required this role. In addition to the education requirement, this position requires two years of related experience as an accountant or auditor in an e-commerce setting or project accounting experience. Alternately, a valid CPA certificate with at least one year of professional experience as an accountant or auditor will also qualify. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be used to satisfy these requirements.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS

CPA or CMA certification is preferred for this position.
